Grain-Free Diets

Fad diets have gained popularity in the last few years with the grain-free diets as the most popular.  In 2018, the FDA released investigations of canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) in dogs eating grain-free diets.  These investigations were prompted by reports of DCM in breeds of dogs not gentically prone to the disease.  As the FDA continues its investigations, pet owners should stop feeding grain-free diets.
